Quebec City Herberges![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "Auberge Internationale de Québec is honestly more beautiful than the vast majority of the one hundred dollar-plus hotels we've stayed in. Located in the heart of the Old Upper City, getting there by car is, ahem, somewhat challenging, but there is parking available nearby for twelve dollars a day. And you won't need a car once you've arrived, because everything you want to see is within walking distance.
What looks like a small, unassuming brick building from the outside reveals itself...(Downtown) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "A nice hostel - The first thing that impressed us when we arrived there is that there is no actual front desk, just a guy going out of his room and taking cash from you, and the doors do not lock! The guy told us that there is no need to lock the rooms because nobody would steal anything, and nothing like that has happened before. We have been leaving some valuables when going out and everything was ok. The internet access is free, even on a desktop computer (in case you don't have a...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "Auberge de la Paix (Peace Hostel) is a relaxing place to stay in the heart of the old town of Quebec City. Though in an old stone building, like all of the old town, the hostel inside is fairly new and modern. Everything is quite brightly coloured and very cheerful. Lots of resources are provided to ensure a fulfilling stay. There are usually people hanging around and it is a great place to meet others.
