Bicheno Hostels

"Bicheno Backpackers Hostel is an excellent place to stop or stay while you are traveling on the East cost of Tasmania -- it's only half an hour from Wineglass Bay and even the town is nice. You will have to go to the Blowhole, choose the rising tide time for that, and try to see some penguins coming back at night. You can also snorkel, dive, fish, and surf -- if you have more time. The Location Bicheno is two hours from Hobart or Launceston, on the east cost, and only a half-hour from Wineglass Bay and Freycinet National Park. The hostel...  more »

"This camp was really friendly and had great people." … "Not only was every single person here über-friendly, which immediately put me off, but the hostel doesn't allow pets. I told them that the goat was my lover and they just looked at me...... I will never be staying here again. The Goat was forced to stay outside tied to a flag pole which I was unable to get to due to a fence.
