"Stayed there in '91 for six months. Excellent people both staying there and running the place. They got me work at several different banana plantations, brutal hard work and I loved every minute of it. I remember the guy who was running the place in '93, can't remember his name but he was a good guy though his english was nonexistent. "This is a great working hostel, with lots of opportunities to get a job. The security was an issue but there is now video surveillance 24 hours a day, which is great. The hostel is cleaned every day and the pool is always clean. There is a good atmosphere here during the week and great parties on the weekend. If you are coming to this area this is the number one place. It even says that in the Lonely Planet. I am sad to be leaving.
