"The Safari backpackers YHA is actually made up of two buildings. The hostel is the first building, while the reception and a separate motel are in the other building across the road. The hostel lies in quiet surroundings (like anywhere in Tennant Creek), but there are some basic supplies at the reception. The condition of the hostel as a whole is not bad.
