"An old captain's villa has been beautifully restored into the awesome, warm, colorful HI - Murwillumbah - Riverside YHA Backpackers Hostel. It sees much fewer travelers than nearby Nimbin and is the choice for the nature loving and outdoor types. The wonderful owner will make you feel like home -- and even serve up free ice cream every day! Beware, though, that the owner is also critical of his guests and if he thinks you are a troublemaker you might be declined.
