They provide free breakfast and a free BBQ on Wednesday nights. It is a great place to stop before or after Fraser Island. The Location All three of the main hostels in Rainbow Beach are right next to each other, and right across from the bus stop -- very easy to find. It's about a five-minute walk in one direction to one major grocery store, and a five-minute walk in the other direction to the strip of local shops and restaurants... Frasers on Rainbow Beach  "Frasers on Rainbow primarily exists to serve backpackers travelling to Fraser Island via Rainbow Beach. The beach itself is beautiful, and only a 10 minute walk away. All of the amenities are a short walk away, including a supermarket, news agent, bakery, butcher shop, bottle shop, eateries, and the local pub. The atmosphere is friendly, however, the Fraser Island travellers tend to stick together in their respective safari groups. A lounge area plays music videos throughout the day... It is a cute little coastal town with so many adventure activities -- diving, skydiving, four-by-four tours, horseback riding, bush walks to lakes, and of course Fraser Island. I had so much fun! Comment by Kristy Rainbow Beach is paradise, a very laid back small coastal town, with plenty of activites to do, Lots of people just don't know about it yet, which makes it so special!
