This small town is a bit off the beaten track for most travellers, with the exception of those serious about finding good work. The main grocery store is a 3 minute walk away and a backpacker bar is just across the road. Apart from these attractions, the town really does not have much to offer. "Stewart (the owner) can be seen in many different ways. If you are a moaning person he will know and he will pick on you. That goes for lazy people, too. He is the hardest hostel worker in Australia, and I've been all over the country in many different hostels. I saved plenty in a few weeks and Bill got me a job further down the coast when I left. It's a great spot for a bit of fishing."
