Alice Springs Herberges   "Alice Lodge is an established hostel that has been reasonably maintained over time and has a nice home-like feel. The subdued location and atmosphere caters for young and old travellers alike. The rooms are basic but clean, comfortable, and include fans, fridge, and heaters – the latter is handy in the peak winter season. A range of accommodation levels and pricing is available.

By far the best I've stayed in yet. - Wow, so clean and new. i's great to stay somewhere with such high standards, they've thought of everything. indoor and outdoor kitchen. finally somewhere to have that great aussie bbq! they have a great TV lounge with a massive TV and free breakfast from 5 a.m., which was great as my tour left at 5 a.m. -- so close to town... "One of the cheapest hostels in town, Annie's is also one of the best. You won't miss it with its brightly-coloured walls, which emphasise the friendly atmosphere within. The location's great. The staff here really go out of the way to make your stay perfect.
The dorms are arranged in a motel-style layout, with many opening out onto the swimming pool area. Each has its own en-suite bathroom... "Toddy's is a large motel style accommodation with plenty of space. They have a small pool and an outdoor bar area where they serve nightly all-you-can-eat BBQs, which are really good value for money - as are the beers and wines they serve. The atmosphere is great, with a lot of the guests preferring to stay there for the evening instead of going into town. Although there are plenty of people... "Great hostel--very clean and well kept! I stayed for 2 nights. They were right on the ball with my reservation, were expecting me when I arrived, and were prepared to help me. It is one room...  "A former cinema situated in the centre of Alice Springs, YHA Pioneer has a fantastic location, just seconds away from the main shopping street, Todd Street Mall.
Most of the dorms are arranged in a motel-style setup, with access from the outside to each room individually. Communal facilities include a fairly small, basic kitchen with a larger dining area and TV / common room. There is also... "No problems with this hostel at all. Didn't encounter any of the problems written on this page. Good location, right opposite Greyhound, 5 min walk to town, great party bar and clean rooms. I paid 20 bucks and got a 3-bed dorm.(Rather than 16 bucks and got a 10-bed that a certain other establishment gave me). All good as far as I'm concerned. Rooms were clean, as was linen, as were the showers...Corner of Gap & Gnoilya Roads
