Opened in September 2001, Sir Charles Groves Hall of Residence houses designer-furnished, en suite rooms arranged within flats of 4 rooms with a shared fully fitted kitchen with dining space. Along with two common rooms, this makes for a sociable and friendly atmosphere. The residence benefits from a reception desk that is staffed 24/7 and a modern secure entry system.
The hall is centrally located with easy access to all the main city centre attractions including Canal Street, the G-Mex - Manchester’s new state-of-the-art exhibition and international convention centre. Just 8 miles from Manchester International Airport, 10 minutes walk from Oxford Road Station and 20 minutes from Piccadilly bus and train stations the residence enjoys excellent transport links.
All rooms include: bed with under bed storage – en suite shower and toilet – modern quality carpets and curtains – a study workstation – a wardrobe – heat detector connected to the central fire alarm system.
