Pahoa Hostel

We have an organic farm and hostel only a mile from Pohoiki surfing/fishing beach and Ahalanui thermal ponds on the SE coast of Hawaii island.

The hostel consists of two buses transformed into two wonderful apartment style accommodation.

8 miles from the therapeutic thermal steam vents (natural sauna).

5.8 miles from Pahoa Town; offering excellent dining choices, Local Farmers markets, Health Food Store, Natural goods , Local artist`s galleries, and Live entertainment.

28 miles from Hilo, the island`s only city with the country`s only tropical rainforest zoo, A Tsunami museum, several spectacular waterfalls, excellent fresh fish and again so much more.

1.5 miles from the wonderful geothermal hot ponds (Try this in the Moonlight folks)

With one of the best consistent surf breaks.(For advise with surf just ask ED.)

Access to the active lava flow that buried Kalapana Village from 1986-1992 and is still flowing into the ocean with spectacular fury.

9 miles from the clothing optional black sands of Kehena Beach where you can; swim, snorkel and listen to or participate in an acoustic jam session with live African style drumming every sunday.
