Average
Thumbs Up -- family owned business that goes out of their way to provide information. Thumbs Down -- a married couple staffs the hostal most of the time. Husband speaks no English; wife just a little, so communication can be difficult. The hostel seems to be located in the auto parts district off a busy noisy street. If you get the front room, make sure you get earplugs. one internet computer for entire hostel. local shopkeepers say the street is not the safest to go walking around at night.

The four nights we stayed in this hostel, was one of the highlights of our trip, firstly the warm welcome we received at 7:30 in the morning, secondly his willingness to give us information about where to go, what to do, just the over all atmosphere you feel at home, i will never forget them. When we return to Argentina i will make a point of staying in La casona, words cant describe how i feel about this hostel. He also has the best barbecue in Argentina!
