Beschreibung
The Karioi Lodge is located in beautiful Whale Bay in Raglan and set upon a 110 acre nature reserve. If you like nature and the great outdoors plus a relaxed, cruisy atmosphere, this will be paradise for you! The lodge is also home of the Raglan Surfing School. Surfing Lessons and Surfboard and wetsuit rentals are available year round along with transportation to the beach plus free homemade soup in the winter. We also offer surf/accommodation packages. The Lodge has loads of FREE activities i.e. Flying Fox, Low Ropes Course,Bush Walks, Coastal Sunsets, Table Tennis and Indoor basketball. Cozy lounge room has Pool Table, Air soccer table, Broadband Internet, Darts, Videos/DVD and Satellite TV. $12 legendary gourmet dinners are on most nights (need minimum numbers). There is also a great SAUNA for guests to relax in & Mountain Bikes available for hire ($5). Daily Transportation is available to the Beach and Raglan Town. Rooms are heated and all bedding is provided. A true backpacking experience!!

| Ort | Raglan is located on the west coast of the North Island just 2 hrs south of the Auckland airport and 1 hour West of Hamilton. Raglan is famous for it's Surfing beaches. The Karioi Lodge is located in Whale Bay 8kms from Raglan Township - just follow the main road that heads to the beaches, turn left at the roundabout at Whale Bay and we're first major driveway on the left. You can reach Raglan on a bus from Auckland via Hamilton, then catch a local bus from Hamilton which runs three times a day during the week (10.15, 3.45, 5.40) and twice on weekends (10.15 & 3.45). Note it does not run on public holidays. We will pick you up and drop you off for FREE in Raglan Township. |
