Peachy Guesthouse is a large establishment with three dormitory rooms. The rest are singles, doubles and triples. Unfortunately the owners could do with a few lessons in politeness. Sure some tourists can be trying, but it's almost like you've personally offended them by arriving at the Peachy Guesthouse. Obviously I'm not recommending this place.
The rooms have no personal touches or character. They're grouped around one side of the common courtyard which includes the reception and a café/restaurant with a few plastic tables. All the rooms are upstairs (no shoes) along a long, narrow corridor. On the courtyard side there's a lot of light and air. The other side can be a bit dim and gloomy. The dorm rooms are large with 5 bedsteads and even mattresses on the floor. None of the mattresses were being used by anyone but I wondered if they sold these when the beds filled up. They also just gave me the key and indicated the stairs without escorting me to the room. I always find this a little inhospitable and the dorm was actually hard to find as it is the very last room and the number on the key was unclear.
There's a restaurant, internet café, and TV lounge but it all looks dilapidated and a bit unfriendly. Especially as you have to sit near the reception to watch the television. The internet is one of the cheapest in Bangkok at just 0.5 Baht per minute, but the guy overseeing the internet room seemed to be always dozing and half asleep.
Anytime I needed anything I had to talk to this older lady who spoke almost no English who was reasonably friendly who would then try to find the lady who did speak English who was really unhelpful. In the end I gave up asking them anything. I didn't get the impression anyone much hung out here at anytime of the day. I spent my evenings at nearby restaurants watching the DVD and VCD movies.
