From the centre of Coyhaique head south along Av Ogana until you reach the Copec petrol station. After the petrol station go right at the traffic lights and go down to the Monument de Mate (a sculpture of a big hand holding a mate cup). Take the left road at the roundabout and follow it down to the bridge. Just past the bridge you will see the sign for Hostal Salamandras. We are about 300 metres along the dirt road.
