Location and Contact

Location

• There are several ways to come here.
• If you can contact me some days before via Email or phone, I will go get you to Lisbon. I charge 10€ Pax (maximum 4 pax). We have to arrange that in the Agenda.
• By public transportation:
• - Taxi:
• I don't recommend Taxis as they overcharge from the Airport (to come here it should be less than 30€). Pickup a Taxi anywhere besides the Airport. Ask for Charneca da Caparica, Rua Dom João V and you will see a Hostel sign there.
• - Other:
• The best way to come here is to go to the center of Lisbon and take a Boat and then a bus. Don't worry! Its a small city and the Airport is near the center and all the transportation is cheap.
• - From the Airport:
• To go to the center just get the BUS number 1 and walk a little or just metro to Cais do Sodré.
• - After you arrive in Cais do Sodré station (near city center):
• From Cais do Sodré station you get the Boat to Cacilhas. Then in Cacilhas you just take the TST bus number 127 or 145 to Fonte da Telha. Ask the driver for the stop called Pinhal do Rei and there will be a sign saying Gui's Hostel on the top of the station.
• All of this in 1 hour!
• - By car (we have parking):
• It is 20 kilometers from Lisbon so less than 30 minutes. Take the bridge to go South (25th of April bridge that looks like golden gate) Its a highway called A2.
• After the river crossing, exit immediately to Caparica. I know the view is wonderful but pay attention because its the first exit of the bridge. Go straight until a exit that says Montijo A33 and take it. Follow A33 and exit when it says Feijó/ Vale Figueira. On the first circle take the first exit right (don't follow to Fonte da Telha now). Then on the next circle take the 3rd exit, so left basically and now yes, follow to Fonte da Telha. Go straight passing several circles. You will enter an area called Arrábida Fossíl on the street called Rua Dom João V. There continuing straight you will find a sign saying Gui's Hostel. It’s near a restaurant called Boinas Verdes is you need to ask around. Only young people talk English.
• Our building does not have an elevator. Please note that if you are booking beds in the dorm it may happen you stay separate from your friends. If you travel with a group and you want to stay in the same dorm please contact the reception. Our staff will do their best to help you.
