Hostel Mandala is truly a good accommodation to spend anywhere from one night to a whole week. It's situated close to all the necessary city amenities and a bus stop. Given that most guest come to Foz do Iguaçu to see Iguazu Falls, the hostel will serve the purpose well.
The Location
Hostel Mandala is located just out of the city center but still close enough that it could be reached on foot. It would take approximately fifteen minutes to reach first restaurants, ten minutes to a local bakery, and five minutes to get to one of the cheapest buffets in town or a large grocery story. Furthermore a bus stop is located just four minutes away where buses pass to the city center, Ciudad del Este, Puerto Iguazu, and Iguazu Falls.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The hostel has several options for private rooms, and a few for shared dorms. The cheapest option is to sleep in a twelve-bed dorm and the price for it is relatively good. The dorm is spacious, and the beds are good -- some of them are king-size beds, and the dorm is well ventilated. Lockers are spacious. There are enough bathrooms, so no lines would form. All of them are looked after and have a clean shower.
Common Spaces
For the common area, Hostel Mandala offers a pool and a garden. The pool would not be considered large, however, it does serve its purpose of cooling the guests; in winter, the weather might not reach the temperatures high enough that the pool would be a necessity. On the other side of the hostel from the pool, at the entrance, is a small garden with two hammocks for the guests to relax. Inside the hostel, near the reception, is a TV with many channels.
Kitchen is located outside, under a roof, and is relatively well equipped. A water filter ensures drinkable water for guests. Although it should be noted that the hostel might not be suitable for people who work and travel, because it's hard to find a quiet place here. The Wi-Fi is also only good near the reception and sometimes not working at all, but the issue is common in Foz do Iguaçu.
Summary
Overall, Hostel Mandala is a good hostel for travelers who are looking for a one-night stay to guests who want to take a longer break. It's well rounded, has all the necessary amenities, and is well priced.

• If you come by bus to the city, you have to take another bus to the Urban Bus Terminal on the main street down from the International Bus Terminal. • So in the bus terminal take the bus number 120 (The same bus that you gonna use to the falls later). And just say to the guy 'Property Mandala' or Zeppelin Old Bar. • If you come from the Airport just go at the main street and take the bus that goes to the right direction and stop at the same place if you come by bus.
