• Air: From Newquay airport follow signs to A30. Follow A30 towards Truro and Redruth. Come off at the Redruth junction and follow signs to Porthtowan. Follow signs for the beach, The Unicorn pub will be on your left opposite the main beach public car park
• Train: Take the train to Redruth Cornwall. From the train station there buses to porthtowan or taxicabs outside the station to Porthtowan.
