This hostel is located in the jungle very close to the Palenque ruins. It is a surrounded by wilderness and is great for those wanting to escape civilization. There is space for outside camping (but beware of mosquitos and other insects!), as well as huts made out of bamboo with 2, 3 or 4 beds inside. Some huts have private bathrooms while others (cheaper) share a common one. There is also a small natural pool, in which water comes from a stream. As opposed to other hostels in the area, this place seems much less commercial. If you really want to explore something special, you can try the "Temazcal" (a kind of Mayan sweat-lodge). It's a little expensive (800 pesos for a 1.5 hours session), but you can share the cost amongst people if you are a group.
