There are no hostels in Dakhla, but there are other types of accommodations...
Dakhla Campgrounds & Camping Bungalows  "We stayed here because we thought it would be the best place to pick up a lift for the crossing into Mauritania. We had no transport and thought it would be best to try there amongst other travellers for a spot in their car. We had no luck but the owner was really helpful and helped us organise a truck lift the next morning which took us part of the way.
The grounds are about 7km out of the centre of town, so if you have no transport you really should bring your own food or eat in town...
