Luang Prabang Guesthouses   "We just came back from Laos and enjoyed it very much. We booked the Villa Merry Lao-Swiss from Europe, so we got a better price, 40 instead of 60 US, to much I think now. Prices are quiete high there, we wondered, but 60 US is to much. It is a good hotel, good beds, nice and big rooms incl ac, TV and a fridge. The rooms downstairs are very small for two persons with some lagguage and you live next to the neighbours chicken. the upstairs rooms are much bigger. Only the hive bar at the other...The two-storey, ten rooms Merry Guest house No. I is located in the Nam Khan riverside area, amongst a group of bars, restaurants and new galleries at the Khan River. Being in the city center means 8-minute walk takes you to the evening craft market, the Royal Palace Museum and major Buddhist temples. The Guest house is a 10-minute taxi drive from the airport.
