I went to Apollo Bay in the 2004 christmas holidays and I loved it. I HAVE to include that I have never seen so many hot guys in my life! I made heaps of friends (teens) and the people in Apollo Bay were friendly. I loved the food at the local bakery-- the pies were fantastic!

I haved visited Apollo Bay many times and I can honestly say that the town is only getting better. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area (La Bimba is a personal favourite) and accommodation is easy to find. Also, it it a great place to base yourself if you wish to see the sights along the Great Ocean Road. If you're travelling with a group of friends, then I would recommend staying in a self-contained cabin in one of the caravan parks. By sharing the costs, it can be quite cheap.
