Piccolo Vecellio is a small family run Guest House that lies in a very residential and quiet part of Venice at a few steps by Fondamente Nove: the main gateway to Venice airport and Venice island. The famous St.Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge are at only 10 minutes walking distance.
It was recently re-modelled and everything is pretty new. The rooms are decorated in venetian style and provided of all modern comforts.The Guest House is managed by Matteo, native Venetian and his girlfriend Beata. We always have the right answer to all your dubts and questions about Venice.

Private quiet location, close to vaporetto.Friendly staff. Problems with connecting to WIFI. Prefab breakfast, (fresh bread would be nicer).

Very nice & clean little house in the less crowded and more venitian north of Venice. No Youth Hostel with party 24/7, but a fine place to sleep and relax, only a 10" walk from rialto and St. Marc's. Everything worked fine with reservation and payment, a choice very much to recommend!

Beata is great and very hospitable and willing to help in every aspect possible. The guest house has quiet location and very close to a water bus station and easily reacheable.

A very comfortable guest house run on small hotel style. Clean and well presented. We were made very welcome by Matteo who was helpful about many tourist questions about Venice. Good continental breakfast. Would certainly recommend Piccolo Vecellio and would go again.

Very clean, comfortable, at a good location. Kind, helpful personnel. Breakfast is Italian so you don't need to watch your weight. On returning to Venice will certainly book this hotel if the price remains reasonable.

Everything was excellent from the very first moment. This place it's a must when visiting Venice, from the guest house itself, to the staff (incredible Beata!). Lovely location, beautiful and mega-clean room...I recommned it to everyone and I'll love to be back soon!
