5 This was a great place to stay in Kolkata! Great rooms and very friendly staff.   — Angela Capanna (2010-06-03) Hostelbookers
5 Overall this was hands down the best place I stayed in India. Off the beaten path, it's quiet at night, the food is delightful, and it's one of the most comfortable places I've stayed in all of my travels. The rates are a little high for a single stay but if you're a couple, they value is definitely there. This place was difficult for taxi drivers to find. I recommend having them drop you off at the metro station and taking the metro south and get off on the Rabindra Sarobar stop. There's only one exit here and take a left as you come out. Take an immediate left and walk North about 3 blocks and you will find the Bodhi on your right. The metro is undoubtedly the quickest and cheapest means of travel from this location. Don't miss out on dinner at this place. It has a quaint patio area and the staff is very friendly. I also recommend requesting the Bengal Fusion room, which has a very comfy king size bed and great decor.Joel GoldenColorado, USADate of stay: May 3rd - May 6th, 2010   — Joel Golden (2010-05-15) Hostelbookers

4 helpful and honest staff, nice food and ambience, worth staying. would recommend friends or other travelers to stay in this guesthouse.   — Yee Mui Cheung (2010-04-05) Hostelbookers
4 Very nice guesthouse, which is located a bit out of the city, but therefore you have a much more peaceful place than in many other locations we've been in India. Very friendly staff and good breakfast.   — Customer review (2010-04-04) Hostelbookers
4 enjoyable stay, only negative point was manager, i.e. over polite, if you can count that as being negative. wanting to know did i need a taxi to airport the following morning even though i was only 5 mins in the door. Also looking to see if I needed breakfast or dinner, hadn't even checked in properly!!! His intentions were good however I felt he was just pushing me to spend more money in the place.   — Customer review (2010-03-27) Hostelbookers
5 It was very hard to find but once we found it it was an extremely pleasant experience. The rooms are just great, the service is personal and very friendly. The hotel is clean and the food is good.It felt like we were staying with a family rather than in a hotel.   — Customer review (2010-02-04) Hostelbookers
