Not for sleeping My friend and I booked in here for a weekend before I went traveling. The hotel is in a perfect location, directly opposite Picadilly station, which was useful for my friend who had to get an early morning train, and a short walk away from many Manchester attractions, shopping, Chinatown, the gay village. When we first arrived, it seemed great. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bar a relaxed place. It was only at bedtime that we found the big problem with this place -- the nightclub in the basement plays music until 4am. The room was shaking with the beats and we couldn't hear ourselves think. The breakfast in the morning was ok, but not great, but it was included in the price of the room. I recommend this hotel for party animals and clubbers, but not for anyone wanting to sleep. — Vicki , British (2008-04-13)
