Description
A wave-cut white fence screens the highway behind our one-story home, creating a tropical oasis beneath the dramatic West Maui Mountains. A two foot deep wading pool and “rain shower” waterfall complements the spacious grassy lawn, perfect for sunbathing. Enjoy dinner beneath the stars in the patio gazebo with lovely nighttime lighting. Bright Hawaiiana landscaping including plumeria and African tulip trees, green & red ti leaves, and ferns.

Private locking rooms stem from the central house which features a shared kitchen (use of the refrigerator is permitted only, quiet is enforced and clean up is mandatory) and a single co-ed shared bathroom with shower. Outside access is 24 hours with a key. Rooms are clean, air-conditioned and minimally furnished with beds, fans, fresh linens and towels upon arrival. Complimentary wireless internet access is also available.
House rules regarding quiet time, smoking and guest count are strictly enforced as the owner resides on property.

Fighting is strictly forbidden, as are loud parties, and we reserve the right to evict any abusive or belligerent guest at any time. There are to be no unannounced guests, and no more than two people per room. Also the A/C wall unit must be turned off when you’re not in your room.

If you want a secure, clean, private sleeping room at an affordable price then you have found the best deal in West Maui. We offer a great value for those on a budget: popular with business folk, backpackers, budget vacationers and repeat visitors. It may not be for everyone, but for some, it is truly the best way to vacation economically.

Weather;

Translated “Lahaina” means merciless sun. We are located in the best sunny weather location on the West Side. As you drive farther north there are more frequent rain showers and gusty winds. Lahaina averages 75 degrees Fahrenheit, warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter. For current weather reports check Wunderground.

Activities;

The best part about visiting Lahaina is the easy access to all types of activities. Snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, surf lessons, hiking, bike rentals, art galleries, historic tours and sites, shopping, luaus, dinner shows, cocktail cruises and more! Seasonally offered is whale watching or parasailing. Our concierge services are handled by Best Hawaii Activities, a discount activity wholesaler and a great place to book your adventures. Ask us about budget activities bookings. Our friendly staff can also help you with directions, restaurant recommendations and car rentals.

4 i had a wonderful stay at the bungalows. it is a house in a neighbourly street, with lulu the pig (miniture!!!) and three adorable dogs and a couple of cats ! aimee and john are very welcoming, and franky does a good job of being as helpful as possible. i had a great time here. it is in a great position - just down from the main drag of lahainia, and is quiet and safe. i'll be back guys, cheers and vamos, zoe...   — zoe hancock (2011-10-07) Hostelbookers
5 People there are passionate, and they are helpful. When you have any question to ask them, they will answer you in patience. They tried to make you feel easy there. The hotel are near to the bus stop, and it is convenient to take a bus to visit the famous places there. Of course, if you can drive, renting a car for going sightseeing is a smarter choice. At the same time, the hotel is near to the beach, there you can enjoy the sand, sunshine and waves. Have a good time there!   — Customer review (2011-06-27) Hostelbookers

4 Nice place with good atmosphere!   — Customer review (2011-04-17) Hostelbookers
5 It was like staying at someones house. Very laid back, close walking distance to town, quiet at night, and Aimee and JJ were both super helpful and accommodating. A great place to have as a base. I also liked the access to the kitchen and the fridge, made travelling on the cheap easier.   — Rachel Lewis (2011-03-23) Hostelbookers

5 Great location and friendly staff.   — Customer review (2010-08-02) Hostelbookers
4 The owners were so nice, they couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were really lovely and the beds super comfy. It was really clean - honestly more like a high end B&B... If your looking for a laid back atmosphere with no drama it's perfect.   — Emma Slattery (2010-06-11) Hostelbookers
5 If you're traveling with another friend, it's a great deal, since the rooms are private and the location excellent for visiting the Lahaina area. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. A car is required, in my opinion.This hostel is literally someone's house turned into a hostel, so the vibe is very calm and relaxing. My friend and I ran into a group of friendly guys from Germany and had a nice time exchanging stories.Very clean and the girl overlooking the hostel is more than happy to help with directions and places to check out. An excellent choice for the western part of the island.   — Customer review (2010-05-21) Hostelbookers
