Me and my friends stayed there for 2nights 29 & 30 May 2006. The hotel is great, the staff were friendly. We didn't eat at the hotel, we preferred to have our meals at the restaurants outside. All I can say, is I wouldn't mind going back there...

Stayed there for one night in April. The place is dark and scary, albeit the rooms were clean with all the necessities. The staff were not very friendly and hardly spoke any English. The aircon did not work. Note that in Maputo none of the hotel doors lock (some special gadget on the inside) but at this hotel we felt very unsafe. The food was terrible (try the a la carte menu rather) although the price was reasonable. I feel accommodation is overpriced. Definitely not recommended for the traveller looking for a bit of luxury.
