A very nice place to stay in Santiago. The location works very well -- a brisk walk to Barrio Bellavista, our favorite part of the city, and very close to the Metro so you can get anywhere else easily. The immediate neighborhood is pleasant and comfortable with good restaurants. The rooms are good-sized and comfortable. Marilu is extraordinarily helpful. She helped with finding and booking accommodations elsewhere in Chile and went above and beyond the call of duty when I had a medical emergency (nothing serious as it turned out). I was in good hands -- she made sure I got seen at a hospital quickly and efficiently. Not that you will need that! But I mention it to let you know that this place makes a very comfortable home base in Santiago.

I stayed with Marilu in February of 2003. I could not have asked for a more friendly and accommodating host. I was provided with any information I needed and Marilu even took me and a couple of other guests along to a play in a city park she was going to. She even translated the performance to me! The B&B also has a great living room area, with a balcony for socializing with other guests. The room I stayed in was small, but very affordable. The location in Providencia is excellent as well. I was able to get anywhere in the city very easily from such a central location. The next time I'm in Santiago there is no doubt I will be staying with Marilu again.
