The best guest house in India This was the best place we stayed in all of India. Please don't let the fact that I am months and months late in posting this keep you from this wonderful guest house (we visited in Aug. '08). It was the most comfortable, clean, pleasant place we stayed in our weeks of touring India. The Colonel and the Professor are such wonderful hosts -- they make you feel like family. We sat up at night talking politics and they fed us amazing breakfasts in the morning. The room was quiet and cool in the heat of the summer. It was well located -- walking distance to the Pink City and just off of a main road with plenty of restaurant options. It is a little hard to find from the train station, so be sure to call ahead and have the Colonel help you make arrangements. It's worth searching for this place.
