I have just spent one week there, for the third time in my life, and it was nice as always, relaxing and quiet. Will come again for sure. — ARIK SAN (2006-09-13)

A nice hotel. Ten minutes by bike and thirty minutes walk from the Kostown center. Simple breakfast, nice and quiet rooms. The staff service is good and friendly. — Richard (2006-06-14)

I visited the hotel in September 2005.
The hotel is far from anywhere — if you don't want to rent a bike or car for the whole stay you'll need to depend on public transportation. A single ticket to Kos cost EUR 0.70 (if you buy it on the bus you pay EUR 0.90).
Don't expect much from a 3-star hotel. The rooms are small, so are the bathrooms and balconies. The greens surrounding the hotel look miserable (not to say pathetic). I found the meals horrible. No choice for breakfast, cold and recycled waste for dinner. Repulsive indeed.
The service is very friendly, English and German speaking. I truly believe that they'll do their best to assist you, that's Athina's strong point. — AdK (2005-11-18)

Nothing special at all. Just an economic hotel for tourists who don't pay much for nothing much. Athina offers clean accommodation and decent service at reasonable price. The food is awful and the location could be better. Anyway, it's a decent value for money. — gale (2005-11-02)

I had a wonderful holiday here in July 1999. The hospitality, thanks to Johnny of Oz and all the family, was absolutely brilliant. We were kept entertained at the poolside every day by an immense collection of chill out with suitable refreshments. Looking forward to returning in the not-too-distant future. — Dave Althorpe (2005-07-28)

I went to this hotel in July 1998 and had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The breakfast was basic but just enough in quantity. The hotel rooms were airy and spacious and enjoyed a peaceful retreat after a hard day at the beach or by the relaxing pool. The poolside bar served tasty snacks and plenty of soft or alcoholic drinks. One of the best holidays I have been on. — GAIL STOKES (2003-08-04)
