Staff were very friendly and helpful, often sitting with guests and having conversations. Rooms were basic but what you would expect from a dorm and were cleaned well.

its a great place to stay in Amman...near of all sigths and in busy downtown, where u have plenty cheap restaurants and a big amount of shops where u can buy almost everything...the staff of Abbasi was really nice and friendly...they always helped us with planning our trip, they gave us a lot of good information and organized drivers to get somewhere...

The staff is just too nice! It's perfectly located downtown (with everything that comes attached to it) and it's an excellent value for the price. Totally recommended!

The atmosphere in the hostel is very nice, the stuff extremely helpful and welcoming. They treat the guests in a friendly way. It's also a great place to meet other travellers especially if you travel alone as the place is always full of people from all over the world.

This hostel set the tone for the rest of my stay in Jordan with the warmest, most hospitable greeting and continuing service I have ever received in my travels!! Nejmah, the owner, greeted me with the phrase 'welcome home' on my arrival, and it truly did feel like home! (or better; my real mum doesn't make me cups of tea when I get back from a long day exploring! Sorry mum)

Wonderful People I absolutely loved this place. It was cosy, central, and like an oasis of calm in the middle of hectic Amman. The owners and staff were incredible, some of the most genuine people I have met anywhere. The accommodation itself is basic but clean. There free wi-fi in the lounge. — Martin , UK (2011-09-11)
