Holiday Beach

Rooms are basic but well looked after by maids. Staff are brilliant, very helpful, and well turned out. Pestered on beach and in town but a firm no thanks should do the trick. Food and drink superb and cheap.

Hi to all who read this. We had a great time while in Gambia but we came across a few problems. We got bitten to death in the room. We asked for a move but at the cost of £300 pounds for a week we did not bother. Then they changed the mattresses and all was ok. The resort was ok but there were not many people there. The beach bar was ok. A big thank-you to Mustafa the waiter. If you are thinking of going just do it. We are going back as soon as we can. The weather is great, I forgot to add. Try the restaurant next to the resort called Sonia's. You get the best welcome ever. The food is great and so are the staff.

I stayed at this hotel in 1998. The staff were great. They really made my stay enjoyable. We are returning back here in February 2006.

We could not have been made more welcome!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and in our opinion, this is the best hotel in Kololi. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

In general, this hotel is okay. It has a beautiful garden, clean rooms, a good location, it's on the beach and safe, too. But be aware that the standard room is simple, with shower and WC.

I've been back from Holiday Beach a week now. We all wish we were back there. Hopefully we will be back in March; we loved it that much. All the staff are very friendly.

We all had a brilliant time and will hopefully be returning again some time this year. All the staff are very lovely and helpful, especially Mr. Fix-it. And all the local people are wonderful, too. I say everyone should go here some day.

It is really good. The staff are very friendly and funny. It is an ideal place to relax and have great fun at the same time. I loved every minute of it!

I used to live at this hotel ten years ago, and the staff made me feel like royalty. I miss that place so much, and plan one day to return. Wake up to the sounds of the waves - heaven.

We had a great time. It's right on the beach and the staff are very friendly indeed. Monkeys comes over to see you from the Nature Park next door. A wonderful place.
