Description
We offer two rooms for rent, each of them with private baths and WCs, air con-ditioned, cold and warm water (not electrical heater), TV and fridges, and phones; one of the rooms has a double bed, and the other two twin personal beds (please see the photos). We speak French and English (Spanish, of course), and offer Cuban meals, at low prices, not included in the rates of the rooms for rent. We, your hostess, Zoe & Victor, will serve you with the tradi-tional Cuban familiar attentions, taking care of the very tiny details that make vacations happy and friendly.
The house (your home) is located in the geographical center of Havana City, five blocks from the historical Plaza de la Revolución, and no more tan a hundred meters from the main Cuban baseball stadium, called Latinoamericano. Reaching the Plaza you can find the route of sight seeing buses for tourists, which at a very low fare, shows you since 9 to 9, every day, the main points of interest in our city and its surroundings, including the best beaches of east Havana. A little farther, in the limits of the Plaza, is located our main station of interprovincial buses.
A couple of miles at the east of the house you may go by foot- is the former center of our capital city: the Central Park, the Capitol building, the Palace of Beaux Arts, the Museum of Revolution, etc., and almost immediately, you will be at the boundaries of Old Havana, still surrounded by the fragments of the colonial walls.
From our house, going to the north and crossing the Plaza de la Revolución, you will find the Havana Malecón, holding the sea, with a broad avenue which allows you to go, at the right, to East Havana, beyond the harbor, and to its marvelous beaches; and, taking to the left, to the developing city, with the opulent mansions and beautiful avenues of the republican epoch, and the new health, educational and scientific institutions created by the Revolution.

Zoe and Victor were absolutely wonderful! I ended up staying with them for another 2 nights than previously booked (all the nights they had...) and went back again for my last night in Cuba! They were fantastically helpful, not to mention surprisingly caring!! I took to calling them "my surrogate grandparents"!

Zoe and Victor treated us like family, organizing casas particulares in other cities, cooking, talking about Cuban life and society and explaining what to see in Habana for us. The breakfast is the best we could find during our stay in Cuba - especially if you like tropic fruits!
The location is convenient; close to both Old Habana and the bus station.
