A truly excellent accommodation! My four-night stay at Residenza Maddalena could not have been better! The hotel is immaculate, comfortable, and in a perfect location for sightseeing in Venice and the Veneto. I received a warm welcome from the proprietress, Carla, who knows her city inside and out, and who offers her guest not only an clean, comfortable, and secure place for the weary traveler, but also genuine warmth and personal attention. The location is perfect for exploring all parts of Venice, and it is convenient for accessing the entire complex of islands that make up this beautiful city. It's easy to find, close to the Vaparetto, the old Ghetto, the Rialo, and it's just behind the Casino in Canneregio. Once you know how to follow your way along the Via Ferrovia, you'll have no trouble returning to this lovely accommodation.
