Kings Hotel

If you are looking for a polite and familiar stay, this is the right place for you! Also the hotel location is perfect -- few seconds to Kings Cross tube station, few seconds to a British library! If you are in London for business too, don't forget that the Kings Hotel has free wireless internet broadband!

"...clean and friendly." This hotel is everything, but not clean. First of all we arrived with our booking confirmation and nobody knew anything about our booking. (We booked for three nights.) So, the hotel was already full. Then, we went to a neighboring hotel (Park Hotel) and did not want to stay there, because the sheets and everything else was dirty and ugly. So we searched for a new hotel for this one night and came back the next day when our original hotel was free. But this room wasn't clean either. Neither the sheets nor the refrigerator. Everywhere MOULD! Terrible. The shower wasn't clean, you couldn't close the window, the washbasin was dirty and the floor never saw a vacuum cleaner (everywhere there was dog hairs or other sorts of hair)! We took pictures, and I think no matter how cheap a hotel is, it should be clean. But I cannot recommend the hotel to anybody. Sorry!

This place had broken windows, and a terrible bed.

The location of this hotel is okay. Everything else is not okay. If there's a heaven and a hell, this must be the latter! Sorry, dudes and dollies.

Ok service and location. There were clean bed sheets, but otherwise a bit ramshackle -- especially the furniture. The beds are OK.

We visited this hotel on March 2004. It has a great location, just next to King's Cross tube station. The staff is friendly and there were shower, TV and fridge in the rooms as promised. Considering the price it's great value for your money!
