I have stayed here for three years, never finding fault with the staff or the facilities. The food in the restaurants is fabulous and the nightlife in the bars is very good. It has amenities during the day, and it's brilliant for all ages. This is a great base for sightseeing in the rest of Tuscany. — M. B / Ireland (2005-02-28)

I was expecting a little old tent and a cot, what I got was amazing! I came from halfway around the world (Canada) and would gladly do it again! — Doug Vezina (2005-02-03)

I have been to this campsite twice and this summer we are going again. It was a great place, and there are a lot of things you can do and places you can see in the area. You won't get bored. — Jeanette Sole, Denmark (2005-01-19)

We got booted off the campsite by some d*ckhead security guy. The manager made up a pack of lies, saying we put someone in intensive car. And then myself and my whole family were banned from every campsite in Italy. Italians are just arrogant bullies, but we stuck up for ourselves and showed them what real Brits are made of. — Anonymous (2004-12-09)

I went here with family and friends. I had a great ten days. I was very sad to leave. I recommend everyone try the cocktail "Girasole." Gorgeous! — Beth Melleno (2004-09-27)

We have stayed on this site for 3 years in a row now. It is great for teens and young children. It is clean and well-maintained, and the security guards are always around at night. The pools are nice and the food is excellent--my 16- and 19-year-old children never left the site in 14 days! — Anonymous (2004-07-20)

I've stayed on the site three times and plan to visit again in 2004. The kids love it. The facilities are excellent and very clean. Some parts of the site can be a little noisy. — Graham Widdowson (2004-01-03)

I stayed in a caravan the last week of the season. It was a very nice site but disappointed so much was closed. When you book they don't tell you this! Great base though, travelled to Pisa and Rome, wonderful experience. — Anonymous (2003-11-09)
We stayed in a caravan in camping Girasole last September. Unfortunately we didn't have such a nice experience over there since the Italian Harley Davidson Club held a meeting in the campground and stayed there for 2 nights. It was very noisy, loud live music until 2 AM in the morning, people talking very loud, drunk groups of bikers and the sounds from heavy motorbikes. The camping management failed to prevent this thing happened and also failed to control the situation. We complained several time but there was no result. — Anonymous (2003-10-05)

We have stayed at this campsite three times now. It is the best site we have been on in thiry years of camping. — Alan & Wendy King (2003-09-26)

Fantastic site, well organised and very clean. Superb shower block. Best if travelling by car, but it's an easy train journey to Florence. Excellent location if touring round Chianti country by car. — Cath + Robin UK (2003-09-06)

We have visited this site 5 times now and we love it. It's so clean and well run and at a great location for sightseeing. — Anonymous (2003-08-29)

Best site we've ever visited, the food and facilities are all excellent. Good for exploring the region or just taking it easy by the pool and waiting for happy-hour! — Anonymous (2003-08-08)

This is an excellent quiet spacious and well maintained camping with excellent services, ideally fit to explore Florence (by train) and offers good access to the Chianti region, Siena etc. We visited this camping site 5 times. — Margriet / The Netherlands (2003-07-31)

A perfect place for the children. — Claus S'ensen (2003-07-30)
