The Abbeyfield Guest House is a Budget guest house offering basic but clean accommodation on a room only basis (no breakfast & shared bathrooms. The majority of the rooms have washbasins in the rooms. We offer free wireless internet access.
Abbeyfield is located just 10 minutes walk from the Rail Station and is approximately 15 minutes walk to the City Centre, and there is good public transport close by. We offer free car parking to our guests. All our rooms have complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and color TV. There is a guest dining room, a fridge for the guests use, and we provide cutlery and plates. There is free wireless internet throughout the house and SKY TV in the lounge.
PLEASE NOTE that we have no reception. To get your key you must phone 10 minutes before arrival for the manager to meet you and give you the key to the house and room. Payment is arrival by cash or cheque only.
The Abbeyfield Guest House is approximately 5 minutes walk from The New Cambridge Leisure centre where there is a Cinema complex, Bowling lots of restaurants including The Lucky Star all you can eat Chinese restaurant. There is also The Junction music venue.
Cambridge is a very Beautiful City with so much to see, from The University Botanic Gardens to any of the many Cambridge University Colleges. Each college has its own appeal for example Kings College has its famous chapel and choir boys then there is Queens College with Sir Isaac Newton’s mathematical bridge or go to St John’s College and take a walk through the Bridge of sighs. You can also see the beauty of the colleges and grounds by taking a trip on the river Cam in a punt. Have a go by yourself or go in style and get a chauffeured punt.

the place was clean and the reception is very good. except that the location is a bit too far fro the bus stop at parkside and the train station. for people carrying luggage and walk will be a bit difficult. other than that is good.

It is really good value for money. It was clean confortable and quiet. Not far from bus stop (5 min walk), the train station (10 min walk) and the town center (20 min walk). Staff very friendly. I really recomand this hostel
