Good, friendly
The hotel is very basic but good value for the money. Rooms are clean, there are working showers and toilets, air-con and ventilators. The roof terrace is a great place. Breakfast is sufficient and the dinners are very good. And quite valuable in Egypt, personnel are friendly and helpful and don't ask extras for all kinds of services (for carrying luggage or cleaning the room). During our stay Mohamed was always present on the roof terrace to serve drinks, food, sheesha, or just to have a chat. Two points of advice, The pillows of the beds are very hard. Something softer might be welcome. It would be interesting if excursions into town could be organized. Just to meet the common people of Luxor and to see how they live there. It would be a welcome deviation from all the gods and farao's.
