4 Cramped, but good value for the money you pay!
I was in Hong Kong about a week ago with my friends, and we stayed at Lee Garden Guest House. Was amazed by the cleanliness of the rooms and friendly behaviour of the hostel staff. The only problem I had was getting used to the small rooms there, but I guess it's not that bad a deal, given how expensive the cost of land is in HK, and the more than reasonable prices that this hostel offered. Otherwise, you can expect to find decent showering facilities, even towels and toiletries like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste (I prepared myself for the worst, bringing my own, but that wasn't necessary). To top it off, connecting to their wireless internet access point was free! You still have to pay if you want to use their desktop computer though, so bring a smart phone or a laptop and take advantage of this. It's also a very convenient location, near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station as well as the bus-stop for the airport bus (A21, I think). And if you need recommendations on good eating and shopping spots, the staff will be more than happy to give their advice. I definitely had a pleasant stay there, thanks to Charlie and his staff at Lee Garden Guest House.

3 I found the Lee Garden Guest house by searching on the web. I had 2 different stays in 04/07. Clean, small and reasonable. My second stay involved the Star building. Upon check in I was informed I was staying in a different building and my room was on the 6th floor. Sadly they were upgrading the elevator making it unusable. Walking up 6 floors every time I went out was not fun. Just make sure the elevator works. It's getting hard to find an inexpensive place to stay in HK lately, but this is a good choice.
