We noticed that we have received low marks with regard to security, it is good to know that The Vucciria area is full of little streets that give a feeling of insecurity, but it is also true that in this area law enforcement agencies do not record any complaints by Italian citizens as foreigners... Therefore in order to avoid damaging the image of our structure only because imagination takes precedence over rationality, please take account of my words. So we remain damaged for no reason. If any of you would want to be accompanied in the evening, know that I'm available.

My Bed and Breakfast is a true B&B because I live here, always close to my guests that have the highest priority. Breakfast is social and spontaneously socialize and collaborate. This is the spirit, and at the luckiest i will answer a few questions about the historical logic of the past 20 years in Palermo ...

Travellers themselves are the most pampered and favorites.

Dear friends the B&B 'Alla Vucciria' is located in an apartment of a building built in the 1800s. It's in the heart of the historical center in Palermo.
The B&B is named after the most well-known permanent market of the city, and all the balconies overlook the right side of the central square of the market.

From here, in a radius of 1 km it's possible to visit the 80% of the historical places on foot, and we will give you all the necessary informations.

Three rooms (Azzurra, Glicine e Pesca) are equipped with a private bathroom. The single room (Azzurrina) with swower, shares a nice bathroom with the owner.

All the rooms have air-conditioning, all the comforts and a view, two with 2 balconies the remaining with one balcony. The single room have a window overlooking a roof garden. A new terrace it's ready for our guests. The house is heated by a system powered by natural gas.

A garage is available at 300m from the apartment for cars and motorcycles.
Seasons:
Summer: Hot in the 100 % of the period (95° Fahrenheit)
Autumn: starts 21/09 and last until 20/10. Just a little cold and rain towards the end.
Winter: Cold (6°C)(43°F) in the night but more than 55°F at 12:00 a.m. In January it is not so cold, 3°/8° (C), 37/46 (F) and not much rain, normally.
Spring: when spring starts many people go to the beach, the day is full of sun !!.

Tour:
With Claudio, trip during the night, in the historical center. Eating some specialty local food and walk inside ... by appointment, free ! You will pay only the amount of the food, about 08:15pm (two time heating).

Payment: Cash only, on arrival.

• Please start from Giulio Cesare Square, go to Via Roma and after 700 meters, at the first traffic lights, turn on the right-hand side, walk for 20 meters and at the first street turn on the lefts-hand side, go straight in front of you, after 80 meters you will find the square of the market place 'Vucciria', across the square (50 meters) take the right-hand street and you will be in Via Coltellieri, after 50 meters, on the left -hand side, you will find the entry door at number 46.

• Please start from Giulio Cesare Square, go to Via Roma and after 700 meters, at the first light go straight, and after 250 meters turn on the right-hand side in the San Domenico Square, park your car or leave the taxi near the 'Caffè San Domenico', nearby you will find tobacco shop adjacent to the little street named 'Discesa San Domenico' walk inside on foot and in the wall in front of you will find our flag 'B&B alla Vucciria' turn on the right-hand side following the street and after 25 meters on the right-hand side you will find the civic number 46 of Via Coltellieri.

• Leave the harbour towards left in Via Francesco Crispi, after 250 meters you are in a traffic circle and turn on the right-hand side in Via Cavour, after 300 meters and 20 meters before the traffic lights, turn on the left-hand side (Via Antonio Cagini), it’s a little street and measures 300 meters, and it ends in San Domenico Square, but by car you must stop there. Find here the 'Caffè San Domenico', nearby you will find a tobacco shop adjacent to the little street named 'Discesa San Domenico', walk inside on foot and in the wall in front of you, you will find our flag 'B&B alla Vucciria' with right indicator, turn on the right-hand side following the street and after 25 meters on the right-hand side you will find the civic number 46 of Via Coltellieri.

• From the airport (45 minuts/31,5 km) by bus:

• This service start from 5:00am and after 6:30am is every 30 minutes and finish when the last airplane is landed (12:00pm). Take a bus of the company “Prestia & Comandè” (5,30 Euro per person), you will arrive near the B&B, because it passes through Via Roma and there you will find San Domenico Square. If your luggage are not in the baggage compartment, maybe, the driver of the bus can stop for agree to your proposal to leave the bus in San Domenico Square. In this case across Roma street and you will be in San Domenico Square, then find here the 'Caffè San Domenico', nearby you will find tobacco shop adjacent to the little street named 'Discesa San Domenico', walk inside on foot and in the wall in front you will find our flag 'B&B alla Vucciria' with right indicator, well now turn on the right-hand side following the street, and after 25 meters on the right-hand side you will find the civic number 46 of Via Coltellieri. If the driver of the bus can't leave you in San Domenico Square he will leave you at the Giulio Cesare Square (railway station) in this case, please follow the instructions from the railway station.

• From the airport (45 minuts/31,5 km) by train:

• This service is every 30 minutes (5,00 euro per person). Take a train underground the airport, go there by elevator, it will leave you at the railway station, out of it please follow the instruction from the railway station

• By taxi 45,00/50,00 Euro.

• By car, from:
• Messina/Catania/Agrigento/Caltanissetta/Enna/Ragusa/Siracusa/Aeroporto di Catania;

• Leave the highway at the first traffic circle, going on the right-hand side, you will entry in Oreto street, go always straight for 2,5 km, only when you need to turn on the right or on the left side, choose the right-hand side. After 80 meters you will find Giulio Cesare Square, turn around it and after a traffic lights you will find the Roma street, please follow the instruction from the railway station by car.

• Trapani/Mazara del Vallo/Marsala/Segesta/Scopello/San Vito Lo Capo/Aeroporto 'Falcone Borsellino di Punta Raisi;

• Leave the highway at turn-off named “ Sferracavallo-Mondello “, following “Mondello” direction, after 5,8 km you will be in Margherita di Savoia Avenue (a street lined with trees), go to right-hand side, opposite to Mondello and go straight 5,9 km, you will across the “Favorita Park” formerly Royal Park, as far as you will find a wall. Choose the street near the wall on the left-hand side, and after 150 meters take on the right-hand side, after 400 meters you will find a wall in front of you, it’s the “ Exhibition of the Mediterranean ” of Palermo. Take at your right-hand side and after 100 meters turn on the left-hand side, go straight and you will have at your right the “ Exhibition of the Mediterranean ” as far as the traffic lights, that you will find after 400 meters. Go straight in Monte Pellegrino Street, follow it as far as next traffic lights, where you will turn on the right-hand side. You will be up the bridge of the railway for 50 meters and you will turn on the left-hand side, go straight and after 250 meters you will see on the right the “Borbonic Prison” (15th century), you are in the right way, following the street you will find after 500 meters at your left-hand side the Harbour of Palermo.
