Friendly, clean, accommodating We booked this under the impression that we had a private bathroom and WC. However, they are all apartments of two rooms so if it's just two of you going you will most likely have to share with the people in the other room. Still, it was a friendly atmosphere and the manager was very helpful. Staff can speak english to a certain extent, you will be able to communicate well. Take a towel and maybe a sheet. Beware of the metro. If you have difficulty buying tickets or are unsure, you could get fined if you have an invalid ticket. Best to buy a three-day pass, which can be used on tram, bus and train (costs about £5). Take tissues as some public WC's don't have any or they have this jaggedy-arse brown stuff, considering you have to pay in all the loos, it's a bit cheeky. Also, eat out of the main town. Zizkov (metro line A to Jiriho z Podebrad )is a working class area near the television tower, which has cheaper cafe bars full of charm. It's disappointing how commercialised the city centre has become, and the workers there are not tourist friendly. As long as you just enjoy the history and buildings, you should have a delightful time. Don't buy those russian dolls they are a rip-off.

It is cheap, safe place and the WI internet works great. Don't go to the ground floor rooms. They smell like mold and personally I think that sleeping there is dangerous. The front desk -- with person who speaks very good English -- is open only between 9 and10 a.m. Monday to Friday. Otherwise there is an old woman, Babka, who doesn't speak English, German, or Spanish. Payment for accommodation is only made cash in Czech crowns. Get a towel. The ones that they are providing are very small. It is clean. There is a microwave, refrigerator, and water heater in the kitchen. It is twenty minutes away from the center of Prague with subway.

I spent almost a week in this apartment. Although it is a very cheap place, I would like you to know some disgusting things about it. Its location it's not safe. I even got my shoes stolen, just for leaving them at my room's window located next to the inner garden of the house. I just got a rude argument with the apartment's owner, who told me that there is somebody in the neighborhood who used to steal some cars.
In addition the woman who usually attended us in the reception neither speaks nor understands English, German, or Spanish. The kitchen has no cooker and it's just provided with a microwave. I recommend you to bring towels, because they are really small. Enjoy your travel!

The room was large and clean. The kitchen and bathroom were also clean. It was among the apartments of a housing complex in the suburbs. The subway station was near, but there was nothing to see around the hostel. When I arrived there, a person who speaks no English was at the reception.

This hostel is near the Metro station and supermarket; it's a very cheap hostel. You share a bathroom and kitchen between two rooms, quite spacious rooms. But the staff don't speak English well.

Very good value! It has basic but spacious rooms, it's clean and safe, it's close to the metro station, and there's a supermarket open 'til 22:00.

This is a very cheap hostel, and easy to reach from the Underground. I liked it very much, so I can recommend it.
