Great place as a base for exploring Havana and Cuba I stayed there for ten days in November 2007. The couple running the place were extremely friendly and helpful. It is spotless clean and equipped with all modern cons. They offer excellent meals at very reasonable prices and give you great local hints about the town, such as do's and don'ts. It isn't right downtown, but the walk there is short and easy. And it is central to reach all other suburbs, that are nice to visit. They were also very helpful for traveling around the country, giving me addresses for other guesthouses and hints on where to go. I can really recommend staying there. You get your money's worth. More than at a big hotel.
