2  Not so great If you are a woman traveling alone, I advise you not to go to the Bedouin Garden Village. The beach was not comfortable (the same goes for all public beaches in Jordan of course) and the owner was bugging me all the time, he was a real pain-in-the-ass (the other staff are extremely nice, though). Moreover, the room was unclean and the food not very tasty.  , Belgium ()
5  Loved it! We came to this hostel after a day in Petra and after a night in Eilat sleeping in a very dirty, shabby, three-star hotel. You could see the difference immediately, this site has very romantic feeling and a very friendly atmosphere with an excellent service. It was November so it wasn't probably full so I can't speak about an atmosphere when in high season. But sitting or lying on the pillows in the open-sky restaurant having 5JD dinner was very relaxing, all the guests around minding their business or eating or reading or smoking a water-pipe until some Israeli girl had to come and violate this peace with her loud and selfish attitude and guess what! She relaxed at the end too. The rooms are simple but clean, maybe a bathroom could be cleaner and the shower flow was questionable (but hey, I'm Czech). What I loved that rooms are separated so you don't share walls with your neighbours. There is air condition we didn't need (there are two windows facing each other providing enough cooling) and a fan in the ceiling which we had to use against mosquitoes so take some spray with you. The staff guys worked very hard to help always with a smile not minding to go back for a key when we wanted to choose a different room and then back again because of the type of mattresses (I've seen two rooms, the mattresses were different and we had very good ones). And the view in the morning! You are sitting for a breakfast looking at the sea which is just a minute walk from you. I just felt sorry I can't stay longer here and I'm coming back definitely. The only inconvenience is that it's twelve kilometers south from Aqaba so you pay more (5JD) for taxi if coming from other places which doesn't matter if you stay more than one night.  , czech ()
