It was warm & very clean. I hate staying in places where the bathroom & shower facilities are cold & grotty, but everything was in tip top shape. The rooms are big & the linen in clean & the rooms are warm.

Great rooms, friendly staff, clean and very nice to stay in. It was a little bit off the main hustle and bustle of the city, but had great deals on drinks and food in the downstairs bar.

Extremely helpfull staff, especially Dee who makes everyone feel very welcome and even moved me to a quieter room when mine got too many noisy people in it. Very clean and well located so you can get to everything by walking easily but far enough away from the centre to be quiet on a night. Amazingly cheap considering how nice the place is

The staff were extremely welcoming and gave us lots of advice for places to visit in the area. We were part of a big group and they were very accomodating to our needs. The kitchen and 'lounge' area downstairs are very useful if you are on a budget and dont want to pay to eat out all the time. The bar was also well priced and had a very friendly atmosphere. It was only a short walk to the west end of princes street, which was great for hogmanay. We really enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave. I would definately recommend this hotel to anybody and hope to visit again sometime.
