Welcome to our small pension located in the heart of Lucerne!

All our 6 non-smoking-rooms are with shower/toilet, direct dial telephone with internet access, TV, radio and mini-bar. The only hotel with an outdoor pool (8x4m) in Lucerne, at the main hotel, the Baslertor. Please check-in at the Hotel Baslertor, just opposite the Pension Roesli.

We look forward to welcoming you as a guest in our pension. Check-in is at 02:00pm – 12:00 am and check-out 07:00 – 11:00 am. To confirm and guarantee the reservation please send us a number of your credit card (Mastercard/VISA, no "Electron-card") together with the exp. date.

Cancellation policy is 72 hrs prior to arrival, 12:00 am, Lucerne time. Parking is available at the Parkhaus “Kesselturm”, 100 meters from the hotel, at +- CHF 20 over night.

By the way: All our rooms are non-smoking-rooms!

Driving:
Coming from the highway Zürich/Basel/Bern take the exit Luzern Zentrum and keep the left lane.
After the fourth follow the row of parking cars.
At the end turn left and keep in the right lane driving back to
the highway Zürich/Bern/Basel. Before you get to
the highway, you will pass a BP-Garage.
Bear to the right, then sharp right,
now you are in the Pfistergasse.

Driving:
Coming from the highway Interlaken/Gotthard take the exit Luzern and keep the left lane. Follow the signs to the highway Zürich/Bern/Basel.
Before you get to the highway, you will pass a BP – Garage.
Bear to the right, then sharp right; now you are in the Pfistergasse.

Walking:
Opposite the train station flows the river Reuss.
Follow the river down stream on the left hand side,
just before you reach the second wooden bridge (Spreuerbrücke).
There is a fountain on your left.
Our hotel is just ofer that way.

We had booked the Roesli Hotel Pension initailly and due to its ongoing renovation, we were asked to check in at Hotel baslertor which was a good hotel The hotel ambience was good and the location was also good, though a bit far from the Lucern hbf. The room was good & spacious, but the bathroom was too small for a person to enjoy the bath. The welcome and the hospitality were not upto the mark. As a newbie to swiss and to lucern we expected some advice on the sightseeing in lucern, but the hotel staff were not to be seen in the reception area at all. The room was clean and nice, but there's no water in the room and the price of water in the mechine was doubled expensive than outside. The river side was quite near but we can't see because we lived in the back side and can't use wi-fi inside the room!!
