Description
Maybe it’s not a fairy-tale castle, the Hostal Paris, but it is a little Treasure with 24 rooms, a green Bar and a lovely garden, which is inviting to those, who enjoy having breakfast under the branches of olive trees.
Marketa and Jürgen from Germany kissed the this slumbering jewel awake in September 2011 and brought their Sleeping beauty back to life .
Ever since the hostel, which lies in Port de Pollenca in the Northeast of the Balearic Island, has craned its neck, stretched its limbs and now it’s dusting off the past and looking into a bright future.
After a strenuous day on a bicycle in the surrounding mountains, one can unwind at the Green Bar, where Marketa and Juergen mix Cocktails for their guests.
Those, who are looking forward to a relaxing day, will find the sandy beach literally around the corner.
Fun sport enthusiasts will certainly fall in love with this Balearic Bay, due to numerous activities it offers. Right at your doorstep you’ll find popular Kite-or Windsurfing spots, also Sailing, Scuba diving, Canoeing, Hiking, Climbing, Inline-skating and Horseback riding-none of the above activities are a problem.
The Hostal Paris doesn’t need a lot of luxury, so that its guests feel welcome and comfortable. Bright and clean rooms with cushy beds will give your body, what it needs. The Sea and the Mountains put your body and soul at ease and last but not least so do Marketa and Juergen.
People, who see with their hearts are welcome here all year around and so are their four-legged friends.

How is Hostal Paris rated on other websites?
The smell coming from the bathroom was terrible, and I wouldn't trust the hygiene of it.

the hostel was in such a good place, literally 100m from the beach and restaurants. our room was nice and big and we had a little balcony too. the breakfasts were really nice, there was no cooked food but the bread, cereals, spreads, hams and juices were all lovely. you could sit outside in the morning too under a nice olive tree. it had a very nice atmosphere.

If your not planning on spending anytime in the room then this would be ok, location very central and short walk to beach.

I truly recommend this place! The owner was charming, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was like at home, like in family. The hostel - cosy. Thy only disadvantage - you need to wait for warm water (but come on!relax... you are on holidays-where do you hurry?)

Far far cheaper than any other hostel in Mallorca. It's in Puerto de Pollensa, which is about an hour and EUR5.65 away from Palma. It's in a small tourist town, really quiet when I was there and because it was low season I had to ring a mobile number so the owner could come and open it up for me. In the evening the bar downstairs is the place to be, even in low season! I met a bunch of really great British expats. There was live music, cheap drinks, and we even went out for karaoke one night. It was bizarrely cold but I had a great time!!
