Ashtrees Guest House is just 2 miles from the centre of the City of Cambridge with its famous colleges and museums. The city offers the visitor many sights to explore, from its academic centre to its modern every day life. Situated on the south side of the city, there is easy access to the centre as the Park & Ride bus service is only a few minutes away, taking the worry out of finding somewhere to park. The popular Botanical Gardens are within easy walking distance, as is the Railway Station and the world-renowned Addenbrooke's Hospital.
Visiting Cambridge need not stop at the centre as a few miles away are Duxford Imperial War Museum, the American Cemetery at Madingley and Ely Cathedral, not to mention the many picturesque villages. For visiting the area, Ashtrees Guest House is your ideal base.

initially i was messed about as i was re-booked from Ashtrees to Parkview and i was informed with little notice leaving me waiting on the Ashtrees doorstep and needing to try and make my way to the new accommodation. It was quite stressful as i did not know my way around and it was in the evening.It is about half an hour walking to the city centre.i liked that i had my own room and bathroom and that the owner Jackie was very polite and welcoming. The English breakfast was also fantastic.

The hostess was really really nice. The breakfast was delicious and there was enough food (if you know what i mean)! The room was tidy and cosy. Very lovely place. I will stay there the next time I'll go to Cambridge.Oh! And though it is situated far from the city centre, there is a bus right on the opposite side of the road, which takes you to the centre for 1.70 quids. It runs each 10 mins and it takes about 5 to get to the place.
