Good choice for family in Hanoi Old Quarter.
I and my family have visited Hanoi and stayed in Classic 2 hotel. It was a excellent hotel. There is one big bed and two single beds in our room, It is so good, clean, and suitable for my family. We actually had a great and relaxing time there. We also joined in the tours with Sunshine travel in Classic 2 Hotel to Halong bay for two days and Sapa for three days. The staff there are so helpful and friendly.

I stayed at the hotel in August 2006, and was very disappointed. My room was on the top floor and the roof leaked constantly, both beds had springs that stuck in my back, my friends' room had their air conditioner go on the fritz and were told they couldn't get it fixed or put in a different room. and the owners were constantly unprofessional and accusing myself and my two friends of not paying for the car to the airport when we did pay. I understand that this is a budget hotel and should not expect miracles, but this was truly bad. Won't be staying here again.
