Hotel Zatkuv Dum is a very nice, new facility, with large rooms that are comfortable, bright, and clean. The bathrooms are great, with showers that you will appreciate after being on the road. There is a pizza restauraunt underneath which we did not try, but smelled delicious. The breakfast, which is really great, and even includes eggs, is included in the price.
The road below is fairly noisy, but quiets down after midnight or so. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable, if a bit firm, and the linen is crisp and white. The building apparently contains some sort of fresco which was discovered in the renovations, but we did not find it.
The hotel is centrally located, and nearby you can find all of the essentials, including good restauraunts, pubs (of course), cafes, grocery stores, etc. It is definitely a good option for the price, which is very reasonable.
To get there: It is about a fifteen minute walk from the train and bus stations. When you get to the main square, go to the far end and hang a right on Krajinska. From here, follow Krajinska about 500 meters, and you will find it on the left.
