Villa Marvalia is really a good choice if you're planning to stay in Santorini. It's cheap (thirty euros for a triple), clean, with air-conditioning for no extra fees (a must in Greece in summer!), kitchen with fridge and cooking plates, and private bathroom. In a few minutes walk you reach the (very small but nice) town of Perissa where you'll find lots of restaurants, bars, and small shops, there's a bus stop that makes it easy to reach all interesting spots on the island, and there's the beach of course!!! I stayed there last summer, and I would go back anytime! The owners are really nice and welcoming, they come and get you with their car when you arrive on the island for free, and are very helpful. They actually live on the top floor and are always there if you have a problem. And the atmsophere was very young and relaxed. I really had a great time there!
