Just finishing a year of traveling and need a place to chill and i was recommended Penguin. I haven't been disappointed, i wanted a place where i wasn't going to get hassled, a problem i've had throughout Egypt. The staff are cool, and if you want to just relax, or get out on the reef, or go into the desert these guys can organise it all for you. They're friendly, the place is clean, and it has a good atmosphere. Recommended.

I was in Dahab on a ten-day visit and had an enjoyable time staying at Penguin Village. The accommodation was comfortable and inexpensive. I had an excellent breakfast every morning in their spacious Beduin lodge by the sea. The whole stay was made more enjoyable by the manager Emad, a wonderful cheerful person who was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. I will definitely go again.

Penguin Village is the place to be if you are seeking the most chilled out, relaxed, friendly place possible. The staff are superb. They will make you feel welcome, happy, and fill you with laughter. Emad will happily see to any sightseeing or transportation concerns you may have. The dive center on site is great for courses or fun diving. It is by far the safest dive company I have been diving with. Come and enjoy. Be prepared to get stuck here for a while.

Well well well, its been one hell of a vacation i had at penguin. its by far of the best i have had in the past ten years simply because everything here is perfect, from staff to restaurant and food to dive center. One man in particular that I owe lots of thanks too, the booking manager Emad, he is one of those guys that gets things done professionally and in timely manner. When I first heard about the hotel in Dahab i was not sure what to expect because I have never been to Dahab before, let alone a hostel. the first day I arrived here I felt like home, everyone is very friendly and hospitable and the environment in general is very warm and relaxing. I highly recommend the Penguin to anyone that wants to come to Dahab. Thank you Emad and everyone at Penguin and I promise that you would see me every year from now on.

This was a most excellent hotel. I had a nice private room with shared bath. about the cheapest place I stayed in Egypt. Super Clean. Right on the red sea. Quiet at night. Excellent restaurant. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just about perfect! Adel was the best manager I have met. Very helpful. Perfect English. Warm and Friendly. If you're going to Dahab, check this place out!

Emad, Emad he's our man, if he can't do it, no-one can. Lovely hotel which was home from home for a week. The restaurant attached to the hotel is probably the best along the front and serves an array of fantastic milkshakes. Your host, Emad (the hotel's booking manager), is more than happy to arrange any kind of excursion you may want to go on (although we were too busy windsurfing to go on any of them). Taxis to and from the airport can also be arranged.

We have been two years ago there and had a wonderful time. They took us like we would be one of their family. We feel really sorry about what was happen now there with the bomb attacks and we hope that all of our friends in Dahab are fine.
